The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is assisting in an investigation into a Dallas County homicide. The incident occurred in rural Adel. Authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene. His name had not officially been released as of late Tuesday night. Authorities said the public is not believed to be in danger.
