Hamburger Potato Casserole (11-19-2020)

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 5 small potatoes
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown ground beef and set aside.  Peel and slice potatoes and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk salt and pepper.  Mix well. Set aside.

Spray a 9″ x 13″ baking dish with nonstick spray.

Layer potatoes, beef, soup and cheese in the pan.  Then repeat.  Top with remaining cheese.

Cover with foil and bake for one hour.

Remove foil and bake another 30 minutes until potatoes are tender.

Allow to sit for 10 minutes, then cut and serve.
