Atlantic is set to host their home Cross Country Invitational tonight at Nishna Hills Golf Course. Action will get underway with middle school runners starting at 4:00 p.m. The Girls Varsity/JV race will start at 4:30 p.m. and the Boys Varsity/JV race will follow.

A number of strong teams and individuals will be in action. In the girls race strong teams will include Logan-Magnolia, Glenwood, Harlan, Dallas Center-Grimes, Earlham, ADM, and Atlantic. Some of the top individuals will be Peyton Pogge of Tri-Center, Courtney Sporrer of Logan-Magnolia, Lily Dixon of Earlham, Mayson Hartley of Clarinda, Geneva Timmerman of ADM, Megan Sterbenz of Dallas Center-Grimes, Braelyn Baker of Creston, Kaia Bieker and Brecken VanBaale of Harlan, and Taylor McCreedy of Atlantic.

The boys race will feature top teams of Glenwood, Harlan, Lewis Central, Earlham, Dallas Center-Grimes, ADM, and Atlantic. Some of the top individuals will be Aidan Ramsey and Jacob Ewers from Dallas Center-Grimes; Craig Alan Becker of Atlantic; Trey Gross of Harlan; Andrew Smith of Glenwood; Cole Dooley of Treynor, Baylor Bergren of Red Oak; Brett McGee of Tri-Center, and Zach Dixon of Earlham.
