(Radio Iowa) – The Harlan High School football team will open the season at home against Grinnell on August 28. Today, The Cyclones traveled to Grinnell to help with clean up after that city suffered extensive damage in last week’s storm. Chris Coffman is the athletic director at Grinnell.

Coffman says a former Grinnell standout is a coach in Harlan.

Coffman says several of their athletic facilities suffered damage.

Coffman says with no power in the high school the volleyball team has not been able to practice for a week.
