The Atlantic football team is gearing up for what they feel will be a strong season. The reason they are confident is the wealth of experience that returns to the squad and they are emphasizing a strong team first mentality. Atlantic Head Coach Mike McDermott says this team has strong contributors all across the lineup.

Garrett McLaren returns under center after passing for 612 yards and 6 touchdowns as a sophomore. Caden Andersen is expected to get some action at quarterback as well. Leading receiver Colin Mullenix is back after hauling in 5 touchdowns last year. Grant Sturm and Garrett Reynolds are two other strong returning targets. Coach McDermott knows they have a number of guys that can help fill the void left by graduated star running back Tyler Moen.

With so much experience returning the Trojans are confident they can make some noise this season but Coach McDermott said he thinks they are just anxious to get out and compete at this point.
