Adair County Sheriff Jeff Vandewater reports a man from Bridgewater was arrested Aug. 28th, in Anita. 41-year old Douglas Matthew Pruitt was taken into custody for Domestic Abuse Assault with Bodily Injury or Mental Illness/1st offense. Pruitt was issued a summons to appear in court September 10th live or by telephone.
