Local businessman sentenced to probation on a Wire Fraud charge

According to court documents, Larry Scott Fulk, owner of 2nd Street Repair, in Atlantic, was sentenced Monday (July 13,2020) in Council Bluffs U-S District Court, to three years probation on a single one count of Wire Fraud. Judge Stephanie M. Rose ordered Fulk to pay a special, $100 assessment, a $10,000 fine, and restitution amounting to $40,192. The remaining counts against him were dismissed. Following sentencing, Fulk was remanded to the  custody of the U-S Marshal.

Fulk was indicted a little more than a year ago (June 25, 2019), and at the time, charges with three counts of Wire Fraud, 15 counts of odometer fraud (for a total of 18 counts). This past February, Fulk pled guilty to one count of Wire Fraud, and the judge accepted his plea.
