Juveniles cited for alcohol-related offenses in Adams County

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department reports five persons under the legal age received juvenile referrals for alcohol-related offenses, following a traffic stop last weekend. A vehicle driven by a 17-year old male was pulled over July 25th at Highway 148 and Lake Icaria Road.  Authorities says during the investigation, the driver received a juvenile referral for OWI 1st Offense and minor in possession of tobacco, 3rd offense.

Two passengers -a 16-year old female and a 17-year old male, received referrals for minor in possession of alcohol. A 17-year old female received a referral for a minor in possession of alcohol and interference with official acts. And, a 17-year old male was cited for minor in possession of alcohol, along with providing false identification to law enforcement.

All five juveniles were released to their parents. The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports also, 21-year old Elora Danon Strough, of Corning, was arrested on a parole violation warrant, and for providing false information to law enforcement. Strough is currently being held without bond, in the Pottawattamie County Jail.
