The Creston Police Department reports the arrest at around 6-p.m. Wednesday, of 59-year old John Edgar Dickerson, Jr., from Creston. Dickerson was arrested on the charges of Possession of Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon. He was being held on a $3,300 cash or surety bond, in the Union County Jail. And, at around 5:20-this (Thursday) morning, 26-year old Jacob David Jones, of Creston, was arrested on a charge of Failure to Appear. He was subsequently released on a $300 cash bond.
