The Atlantic Trojans softball team looks to build on another successful regular season with a postseason run that begins tonight against Clarinda. The Trojans have racked up a 15-1 record this year and will host a Clarinda team that is 4-10 in the opening round of Class 3A Region 3.

Atlantic won the regular season meeting against the Caridnals back on June 18th by a score of 12-2 in 6 innings of play. Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann said after the regular season finale against Missouri Valley that the Trojans accomplished a lot of their goals for that portion of the season, but now a new season with new goals begins.

Trojan fans that are headed to the game tonight are asked to wear Black to match the Trojans’ uniforms and support the team. For those that can’t make it out we’ll have the game on KJAN with pregame at 6:45 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tune in on AM 1220, FM 101.1, and online at kjan.com
