(Radio Iowa) — Upper Iowa’s football season opener will now be September 12th at Concordia University in St. Paul. The move comes after NCAA Division II approved a 10 game schedule for the upcoming season. The Peacocks original opener against Minnesota-Duluth has been moved to the end of the season.

That’s Upper Iowa coach Jason Hoskins, who says the change means they will not play all the other teams in the south division.

Hoskins says they are thrilled to have a season to prepare for.
