The Iowa Department of Public Health, Sunday, release the latest coronavirus data for the past 24-hours (ending at 10-a.m.). Officials confirmed 441 additional COVID-19 cases, for a total to-date, of 25,865 positive cases. There were also four additional COVID-19 deaths since Saturday, for a statewide death toll of 685. The website said 478 of the state’s deaths involved Iowans with preexisting conditions.

COVID-19 outbreaks at long-term care facilities account for 356 of the state’s total deaths. Iowa DPH reports 170 hospitalizations, of which 53 patients are in intensive care. Polk County reports the most cases in the state, with 5,483 positive cases.
