Guthrie County is advising residents that effective today (Tuesday) at 1:00 pm, the Guthrie County Courthouse will be closed to all visitors. The staff will continue to work M-F 8am-4:30pm. Guthrie County is following the social distancing guidance set forth by the President of the United States and the Governor of Iowa to slow and limit the spread of COVID-19. Anyone needing to do business at the facility can call or email each department.

A contact list will be placed outside the Main Entrance on the East side of the building. Each department can be contacted using the http://guthriecounty.org/ website. Guthrie County is in the process of getting a drop box installed on the east side so if paperwork needs to be filed to a department, citizens can do so by contacting the department and placing it in the drop box.
