Officials in Adams County said Tuesday, the Adams County Courthouse will be closed to the public effective 8:30-a.m. today (Wednesday). Offices in the courthouse will remain open for phone calls, though. The various office staff will assist you by phone or e-mail. Persons needing the Adams County Sheriff’s Office should use the east doors, with an intercom available for you to speak to Sheriff’s officials.
