In the midst of two other announcements for Iowa football yesterday, Offensive Tackle Tristan Wirfs also announced his decision to declare for the NFL Draft.

Wirfs is a 6-5, 322 pound tackle that appeared in 35 games over three years for Iowa. He is projected as a first round pick. Wirfs brings the total number of Hawkeyes leaving early for the NFL to 4. He is joined by defensive end AJ Epenesa, safety Geno Stone, and running back Toren Young.
