KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Patrick Mahomes threw for a touchdown and ran for one, Juan Thornhill returned a pick 46 yards for another score, and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the bumbling Oakland Raiders 40-9 to seize control of the AFC West. LeSean McCoy and Darwin Thompson also had TD runs for the Chiefs, who took a two-game lead over the Raiders by finishing off a season sweep. Derek Carr threw two interceptions for Oakland.
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Javonte Perkins had 18 points off the bench to lead Saint Louis to a 69-60 win over Southern Illinois. Hasahn French had 15 points and nine rebounds for Saint Louis, which won its fourth consecutive game.
MORAGA, Calif. (AP) — Tanner Krebs had 19 points to lead five Saint Mary’s players in double figures as the Gaels won their seventh consecutive game, beating Omaha 75-66. Jordan Ford added 18 points for the Gaels.
