The Atlantic Boy’s swim team opened up the 2019-2020 season at the  Boone Swim meet on Saturday, December 7th and came away with a 5th place finish.

The Trojans were led by a 2nd place finish from the 2×200 yard freestyle relay team of Alex Sampson and Bryan York at 4:08.76. York and Cole Sampson took 2nd in the 2×500 yard relay in 11:36.24. Sampson and Drew Engler were 2nd in the 2×100 yard relay in 2:27.91. Sampson and Engler also took 2nd in the 2×100 yard breaststroke in 2:27.91

The 2×200 yard freestyle relay team of Alex Sampson and Bryan York finished second with a time of 4:08.76. York and Cole Sampson finished runner-up in the 2×500 relay, in 11:36.24. Alex Sampson and Drew Engler, finished second in the 2×100 yard relay in a time of 2:27.91, and Alex Sampson and Drew Engler earned a second-place finish in the 2×100 yard breaststroke relay in 2:27.91. Engler and Brayden Atkinson were fourth in the 2×50 yard relay.

Next up for the Trojans will be a Triangular they are hosting at the Nishna Valley YMCA with Sioux City West and South Sioux City on December 12th.
