Creston Police report numerous arrests

The Creston Police Department reports six recent arrests. A little after 1-a.m. Sunday, 59-year old Randall Burkhead, of Lorimor, was arrested in Creston for OWI/1st offense. He was later released from the Union County Jail on a $1,000 bond. At around 3-a.m. Saturday, 24-year old Nathanial Dewitt-Patterson, of Creston, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance/1st offense – Marijuana. At 6-a.m. Saturday, 23-year old Canyan Dukleth, of Creston, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was later released from the Union County Law Enforcement Center (LEC), on a Promise to Appear in Court.

And, there were three arrests in Creston last Friday: 28-year old Trevor Kinkade, of Creston, was arrested late Friday night, for Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness. He was later released on $1,000 bond;  53-year old Peggy Hampton, of Murray, was arrested at around 8-p.m. Friday, for Theft in the 5th Degree. Earlier that same afternoon, 33-year old Holly Perkins, of Creston, was also arrested for Theft in the 5th. Both women were released on a Promise to Appear.

Authorities said also, a Creston woman residing in the 500 block of N. Pine, reported Saturday that sometime late Friday afternoon through mid-day Saturday, someone got into her vehicle while it was parked behind her home, and took a container of loose change and some random paperwork. The loss was estimated at $100.
