Creston man arrested on a Cass County warrant

The Creston Police Department reports a man from Creston was arrested Saturday morning on a warrant out of Cass County. 27-year old Kevin Lee Davis was taken into custody on the warrant for Failure to serve jail time on an original charge of Probation Violation. Davis was transferred to the custody of Cass County deputies.  Friday morning, 51-year old Brian Ward, of Creston, was arrested on a Union County warrant for Probation Violation, on an original charge of OWI/2nd offense. He was later released on a $2,000 bond.

Early Sunday morning, 46-year old Jamie Foote, of Creston, was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was later released on a $300 bond. And, at around 4-a.m. Sunday, 26-year old Kaylee Nelson, of Creston, was arrested for Assault on an Officer, Interference with Official Acts, and Public Intoxication. She was later released from the Clarke County Jail on a $1,600 bond.

Creston Police said also, two incident of theft were reported over the weekend. Saturday afternoon, a man residing in the 700 block of W. Michigan Street, reported that sometime during the past three weeks, someone broke into his storage unit on E. Union Street, and took numerous items. They include: A propane heater, propane tank; tools; a black plastic tub, and a house door. The loss was estimated at $665. And, a man residing in the 300 block of N. Walnut Street in Creston, reports Sunday morning, that sometime overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning, someone entered his vehicle parked outside the residence, and stole a handgun and documents related to the vehicle. The loss was estimate at $254.
