The Atlantic Trojans football team opened up the 2019 season with a strong performance in a 49-13 win over Saydel at the Trojan Bowl. Atlantic came out firing early after the opening kickoff was returned for a touchdown before being called back on a penalty. Tyler Moen made up for that penalty immediately with an 89 yard touchdown run to begin a 35-0 first quarter for the Trojans. They would end up leading 42-7 by halftime and rolled to the win.

Moen finished with 191 yards on just 6 carries with 4 touchdowns. The Trojans outgained the Eagles 304-177 on the night. 260 of those yards were on the ground for Atlantic.
