Shenandoah and Red Oak battled for spots in the Girls Team Tennis Final Four on Monday in First Round State Matches in Class 1A.

In Class 1A Region 2 Red Oak fell to Cedar Rapids Xavier 5-4 in a match played at Johnston.

In Class 1A Region 3 Shenandoah advanced on with a 5-0 win over Pella Christian in a match played in Norwalk.

Shenandoah advances on to play in the Class 1A Final Four on June 1st in Des Moines. Play will begin at 8:30am that day with finals then being played at 2:00pm.
