OMAHA, Neb. — Due to potentially dangerous storms in the Omaha area, the University of Iowa baseball team’s Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal game versus Nebraska was postponed to this (Friday) morning. The game will start approximately one hour after the conclusion of the Ohio State-Maryland game, which was halted Thursday night with one out in the bottom of the eighth with the Buckeyes leading 3-2.  The resumption of the game will begin at 10 a.m. (CDT) at TD Ameritrade Park.

Day two tickets for Thursday’s original game will be valid today (Friday). Day three (Friday’s) tickets will be accepted beginning at 2 p.m. (CDT). The facility will not be cleared between the postponed games and the regularly scheduled games. The quarterfinal match-up will be the fourth game between Iowa and Nebraska this season with the Hawkeyes taking the regular season series, 2-1. Junior Grant Judkins (4-6, 2.32 ERA) will start for Iowa.
