The Atlantic Trojans (1-0) will host the Exira-EHK Spartans (1-2) in Softball action tonight and we’ll have coverage on KJAN.

The Trojans opened up the season with a 13-0 win over Missouri Valley on May 22nd. They had one game wiped out due to the recent wet weather last Friday against Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson. The Trojans also avoided some other schedule dates to accommodate Spring sports postseasons.

Exira-EHK picked up a win in their opener over Woodbine 11-1 on the 20th. They then lost games to Coon Rapids-Bayard and Ar-We-VA. The Spartans have a really young roster with 11 players Sophomores or younger.

JV game is first up on the slate at 5:30pm with the Varsity to follow about 7:00pm. We’ll have coverage beginning about 15 minutes prior to the Varsity game on AM 1220, FM 101.1, and online at kjan.com.
