The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports several recent arrests. A Nebraska woman was arrested Sunday night on two counts of Child Endangerment/Substantial Risk, OWI/1st offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance/Marijuana – 1st offense. Authorities say 32-year old Kimberly N. Chunn, of Omaha, was arrested after a deputy was dispatched to a location to a business in the 26-thousand block of Magnolia Road, for a “check location.” The endangered children were said to be one- and 4 year-old males.  Chunn was transported to the Pott. County Jail and held on a $4,000 bond.

Earlier that same evening, 46-year old Richard E. Zortman, II, of Avoca, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault, following an incident involving a 50-year old woman, in Avoca. His bond was set at $300. Saturday evening, a Pott. County Deputy on patrol made a traffic stop just east of the State Patrol Headquarters in Council Bluffs, on a vehicle for having temporary “City Motor Sports” license plates. A passenger in the vehicle, 46-year old Stephanie Ann Good, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine/1st offense, and drug paraphernalia. Good was taken into custody and transported to the Pott. County Jail.

At around 1:30-a.m., Saturday, 20-year old Jacob Duane Martinmaas, of Omaha, was arrested on a warrant for Violation of Probation. He was taken into custody in Council Bluffs, following a traffic stop. Friday afternoon, 32-year old Benjamin Pecher, of Council Bluffs, was served with a warrant for Violation of Probation. Pecher was being held in the Pottawattamie County Jail on numerous other charges when he was served with the felony warrant. His bond was set at $1,000. And, Friday morning, 37-year old Austain Scott Standley, of Missouri Valley, was transported from the Harrison County Jail to the Pott. County Jail, where he was wanted on a Pott. County warrant for Violation of Probation.
