Clarinda wins Hawkeye Ten Boys Tennis Tournament, Atlantic second

The Clarinda Cardinals boys tennis team won the Hawkeye 10 Conference Tournament at Shenandoah on Monday. The Cardinals compiled 24 points to edge out Atlantic by one point.

In #1 Singles play Reed Miller of St. Albert was the Champion. He beat Atlantic’s Nile Petersen in the final 6-2, 6-3.

The #2 Singles title was won by Jeff Miller of St. Albert. He defeated Kory Rogers of Clarinda in the final 7-5, 6-1.

The #1 Doubles Champions were Sean Moran and Colin Reis of Denison-Schleswig. They topped Brock Bruns and Jonny Cheek of Harlan in the final 6-1, 6-2.

In #2 Doubles play the Denison-Schleswig duo of Chris Krajicek and Caleb Seuntjens defeated Ethan Williams and Ethan Sturm of Atlantic in the final 6-2, 7-5.
