The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office has released information concerning arrests and incidents from February 22nd – March 1st, 2019.

March 1stJoshua Tisen, of Panora, turned himself into the Guthrie County Jail to serve the remainder of his jail sentence on an Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense conviction; James Vaughan, of Yale, was arrested on a Guthrie County warrant for Harassment 3rd Degree.  Vaughan was seen by the Guthrie County Magistrate and held on a $300.00 cash bond.  He later posted the cash bond and was released.

February 28thRaymond Flora, of Fort Dodge, was arrested at the Poweshiek County Jail on Guthrie County warrants for Theft 2nd Degree and Theft 5th Degree. Flora was transported to the Guthrie County Jail and held on $5,300 cash or surety bond. He appeared before the Guthrie County Magistrate and was then held on $500.00 cash bond.

February 24thTravis Smith, of Bagley. was arrested on a Guthrie County warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault 2nd Offense following a traffic stop in Bayard. As a result of the traffic stop, Smith was also charged with Driving Under Suspension. Smith was initially held without bond. After an appearance before the Guthrie County Magistrate, Smith had a $100 cash bond. He later posted the bond and was released; Kevin Laughery was arrested for Public Intoxication 1st Offense near the intersection of Highways 44 and 25 in Guthrie Center. Laughery was held on a $300 bond. He later pled guilty to the Guthrie County Magistrate and was released from custody.

February 23rdA juvenile male from Stuart and a juvenile male from Dexter were referred to juvenile court for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop in Menlo.; Randy Felder, of Bagley, turned himself into the Guthrie County Jail to serve a thirty-day mittimus for probation violation.; Samantha College, of Guthrie Center, was cited and released on a charge of False Report to a Public Entity following an investigation into an alleged shoplifting violation at the Guthrie Center Dollar General Store.; And, Craig Kintz, of Guthrie Center, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st offense following a traffic stop in Guthrie Center. Kintz was held on $1,000 bond. He was released on his own recognizance following an appearance before the Guthrie County Magistrate.
