Exira-EHK and Audubon meet in District Semifinal tonight

The Exira-EHK Spartans (20-2) will get another meeting with the Audubon Wheelers (16-6) in the Class 1A District 15 Semifinals tonight. The Spartans knocked off the Wheelers in the regular season 75-55 back on January 12th. This time will be a win or see the season end scenario.

The Spartans have put up an impressive 73 points per game this year and have 4 players averaging in double figures. Dakota Rold leads the way with 17.3 points per outing followed by Cole Burmeister with 15.9 per game, Josh Pettepier 12.8ppg, and Trever Schulz 11.9ppg.

The Wheelers will counter with a strong offense of their own. They are averaging 65 points per contest with three players leading the charge. Tate Killeen has averaged 19.6 points per game and Lane Lawson is at 15.3 and Kaiden Smith has dropped 12.2 per outing.

Chris Parks will have the call of the game tonight in Elk Horn with tip-off set for approximately 7:00pm following the AHSTW vs. Ar-We-Va contest. Tune in on AM1220, FM101.1, and online at kjan.com.
