Trojan LogoThe Atlantic boys basketball team will open up the postseason tonight against the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs. That game is being played as the first of a doubleheader in Glenwood tonight at 6:30pm. Glenwood and Creston will follow in the second game at 8:00pm.

The two teams just met on Thursday night to end the regular season with Denison-Schleswig coming out on top 66-51. The Monarchs won the first meeting of the season as well back on January 4th 64-50. Atlantic Head Coach Jeff Ebling said the Trojans showed some good things on Thursday and he knows they will be ready to go tonight.

Atlantic (9-11) is led by Chase Mullenix averaging 17.2 points per game and Tyler Moen who has averaged 14 points per outing.

Denison-Schleswig (16-4) has been led by a standout junior class. Goanar Biliew leads the way with 17.9 points per game and Charlie Wiebers has dropped in 16.7 points per outing.

Coach Ebling said limiting the Monarchs to one attempt per possession will be key.
