In an update to our earlier reports, Police in Council Bluffs today (Monday), said a man found dead inside an apartment at 35 North 1st Street, last Thursday, has been identified as 38-year old Adam Angeroth, of Council Bluffs.

Officers were sent to his home to conduct a welfare check, after he had not been heard from for several days. Detectives are investigating his death as a homicide. An autopsy confirmed evidence of foul play, but for investigative reasons, the manner of Angeroth’s death is being withheld at this time.
