Red Oak Police were called to 200 block of N. 2nd Street this (Wednesday) morning, for a reported assault. Upon investigation, officers arrested 42-year old Chrystal Rush Stewart, of Red Oak. Stewart was taken into custody at around 12:24-a.m., on a charge of Simple Assault. The woman was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and held on a $300 bond.
