OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Talen Horton-Tucker scored 23 points, Lindell Wigginton had 18 and No. 24 Iowa State cruised over No. 20 Mississippi 87-73 in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. Iowa State put on an offensive show, making 13 straight shots during the second half to turn a tight game into a relatively easy victory. The Cyclones shot 69 percent from the field, including nearly 77 percent in the second half.

VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP) — Freshman D.J. Wilkins had a season-high 20 points _ his 10th consecutive game scoring in double figures _ to help Drake beat Valparaiso 70-59 and extend its win streak to four games. Wilkins hit 4 of 8 from 3-point range, grabbed six rebounds and had four assists.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — PJ Washington scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half, and No. 8 Kentucky beat No. 9 Kansas 71-63 in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge. Washington also had 13 rebounds, helping the Wildcats to a 49-36 advantage on the glass. Reid Travis had 18 points and 12 boards, and Keldon Johnson also posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Skylar Mays scored 11 points of his 24 points in the last three minutes of regulation and No. 25 LSU overcame a 14-point deficit in the final 2:08 to force overtime in an 86-80 victory over Missouri. Ja’Vonte Smart made two 3-pointers in overtime and scored 14 points for the Tigers (16-3, 6-0 Southeastern Conference).

STORRS, Conn. (AP) — Christian Vital scored 21 points Jalen Adams added 19 as UConn beat Wichita State 80-60 on Saturday night in the American Athletic Conference. Tyler Polley added 12 points and Josh Carlton 11 and four blocks for the Huskies, who never trailed. Jamarius Burton had 16 points for Wichita State, which has lost three in a row.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Florence Dalby loves Nebraska as much today as she did when she first started going to games in 1939. The Cornhuskers honored her during their Coaches Vs. Cancer game against Ohio State. It’s wasn’t just because she’s been a breast cancer survivor for nearly 25 years but also because she’s been a season ticket holder for 80.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Luther Muhammad scored 18 of his career-high 24 points in the second half and Ohio State ended its longest losing streak in 21 years with a 70-60 win over struggling Nebraska. Muhammad made three 3-pointers in the middle of the second half to spark a 20-5 run that propelled the Buckeyes to their first win in six games. James Palmer and Glynn Watson Jr. combined for 37 points for the Huskers.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Wendell Mitchell scored a game-high 22 points, all in the second half, and Texas A&M ran past Kansas State 65-53 in the annual Big 12/SEC Challenge. The Wildcats (15-5) led 30-26 at halftime before the Aggies (8-10), in snapping a three-game losing streak, outscored their former Big 12 brethren 39-23 over the final 20 minutes.
