WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Karissa McLaughlin and Dominique Oden scored 16 points apiece, Purdue went on a 16-3 run in the fourth quarter and held on to upset No. 17 Iowa 62-57. The Boilermakers (12-5, 3-1 Big Ten) were down by eight less than three minutes into the fourth quarter when they went on their run to lead by five with less than two minutes to go.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Isaiah Roby scored a career-high 22 points and made a couple big defensive plays late, and Nebraska beat Penn State 70-64 for its school-record 20th straight home win. The Cornhuskers bounced back from two straight road losses that knocked them out of the Top 25.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Colts-Chiefs playoff game is hardly short of offensive firepower. Sure, quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Patrick Mahomes get all the publicity. But the Colts feature TY Hilton, Dontrelle Inman and Eric Ebron in a versatile offense, while the Chiefs counter with wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins and their own tight end, Travis Kelce.

TROY, Ala. (AP) — Troy has hired former Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey as its head football coach. The Trojans hired Lindsey away from Kansas, where he had been announced as offensive coordinator on Dec. 4. Lindsey, who spent the past two seasons at Auburn, replaces new West Virginia coach Neal Brown at one of the Sun Belt Conference’s top programs.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Matt Pile and Mitchell Hahn posted double-doubles and Hahn hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 8 seconds left in the game to lift Omaha to a 92-91 victory over North Dakota. Pile finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season and Hahn tallied 17 points with 11 boards for his second.
