Police in Creston report an accident Saturday afternoon resulted in a Montgomery County man being transported to the hospital. Authorities say 39-year old Bradley Wayne Ford, of Red Oak, was in Creston with his family, for a youth baseball tournament. The family was trying to locate the ballfield but were unable to find it. Ford was conversing with his wife, when their pickup was struck by a 2005 Chevy pickup that was traveling east on Fremont Street. The driver of the Chevy was identified as 42-year old Troy Dean Hoepker, of Cromwell.

Bradley Ford suffered suspected minor/non-incapacitating injuries, and was transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, by EMS. Hoepker complained of pain, but was not taken to the hospital. Damage from the collision amounted to $15,000. No citations were issued.
