3 arrests, 3 incidents in Creston

Creston Police conducted three separate arrests over the weekend, and took three vehicle break-in reports. Late Sunday night, Sebastian Sweat, of Blockton, was arrested in Creston for Public Intoxication. He was being held in the Union County Jail on a $300 bond. 29-year old Maria Rodriguez (Muffley), of Creston, was arrested late Saturday night, for Disorderly Conduct and Driving While Suspended. She was later released on a $300 bond. And, 29-year old Steven Behlers, of Creston, was arrested Saturday evening, for Possession of a Controlled Substance/2nd offense. His bond was set at $2,000.

Three vehicle break-ins were reported Saturday. One incident happened sometime between 8-p.m. Friday and 8-a.m. Saturday, in the 300 block of Livingston. The vehicles’ title was reported to have been stolen. Sometime from 10-p.m. Friday and 6-a.m. Saturday, a vehicle in Creston was broken into parked in the 300 block of S. Bureau Street. An envelope with cash was taken. The loss was estimated at $100. And sometime between 9:30-p.m, Saturday and 11-a.m. Sunday, a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Myrtle Street, in Creston, was broken into, and loose change was stolen. The loss was estimated at five-dollars.
