Flash Flood Watch update (6-a.m., 6/19)

**A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 8-a.m. for Cass-Adair-Audubon-Dallas-Guthrie-Madison-Carroll-and Crawford Counties. The Flash Flood Watch for Audubon, Guthrie, Dallas, Crawford, Carroll, Monona, Harrison, Pottawattamie, Sac and Shelby Counties has been cancelled.

* Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch and locally up to 2 inches
  are possible through early this morning.

* This may lead to significant ponding and a threat of flash
  flooding through early this morning due to heavy rainfall. In
  addition, renewed river flooding may result Tuesday through
  Thursday. Be aware of night time flooding and water covered
  roads!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
