FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON…

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible through Tuesday morning. In addition, localized amounts over 5 inches may occur.

* Significant ponding and flash flooding are possible through Tuesday morning due to heavy rainfall. In addition, renewed river flooding may result Tuesday through Thursday. Be aware of night time flooding and water covered roads!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
