WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM CST MONDAY (12/4)

* TIMING…starting late Monday morning in northeast Nebraska and spreading southeast across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa by early to mid afternoon.

* WINDS…northwest winds increasing 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 45 mph.

Sac-Crawford-Carroll-Audubon-Guthrie-Dallas-Cass Counties

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM MONDAY TO MIDNIGHT MONDAY

* WINDS…Sustained Northwest winds at 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph. Winds will diminish after midnight but remain at 25 to 40 mph overnight.

* IMPACTS…Travel may be hazardous, especially for high profile vehicles on north south highways and interstates. Lightweight and unsecured objects will be blown around. Winds this strong can make driving difficult. Use caution while traveling, especially on west to east roads and bridges. Tie down loose items that might be blown about.
