Traffic Stop Results in Drug Related Charges and Arrest in Clarinda

Clarinda Police Chief Keith Brothers reports that at around 5:20-p.m. Thursday, officers arrested a Union County man. 34-year old Adam Michael Roan, of Afton,  was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license. Roan was arrested in the 100 block of South 15th Street pursuant to a traffic violation stop. He was being held in the Page County Jail on $5,000 bail pending an appearance before the court.

Police reports have been submitted to the offices of Page County Attorney Carl M. Sonksen for review regarding the filing of formal charges.
