November dry and warmer than normal in Atlantic

The month of November was warmer, cooler and drier than normal. Weather statistics compiled at the KJAN Studios (the official National Weather Service record-keeping site for Atlantic), indicate the Average High for the month was just over 50-degrees. The typical High for the month is 46. The warmest day was Nov. 24th, at 69 degrees.
The Average Low was slightly over 24-degrees, which was about three-degrees warmer than normal. Our coldest morning was 11 on Nov. 22nd.
Precipitation for the month amounted to just one-third of an inch (.33”). Normally, we receive 1.85-inches of rain and/or melted snow. Looking ahead to December, the Average High is right around 33, while the Average Low is 14. Precipitation for the month typically comes in at around 1.1-inches.
