The 2017 Coca-Cola Days 25^th Anniversary was held this past weekend, September 22-23, in Downtown Atlantic.

This year, there was a total of 110 registered Coca-Cola Collectors ranging from all around the country. To help welcome them into town, collectors and members of the community were treated to a Tailgate Party at the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce. The Atlantic Bottling Company grilled burgers and provided side dishes and an ice-cold Coca-Cola for everyone, serving 155 people.

Local sponsors took part in the 3^rd Annual Bottles on Parade. Decorated bottles were on display outside the following sponsors: Atlantic Coca-Cola Center & Museum, Cappels Ace Hardware, China Buffet, Nishna Valley Family YMCA, The Venue and Atlantic Inn & Suites. Community members and Coca-Cola Collectors spent the weeks leading up to Coca-Cola Days voting on their favorite bottle. Over 900 votes were collected. Cappel’s Ace Hardware took home the top prize.

Also this year, the Coca-Cola Committee celebrated the 25^th Anniversary with a raffle that included 25 items donated by area businesses. The raffle was valued at over $600.

The drawing took place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 23^rd at the close of the Show, Swap and Sell, at the Herring Building. The winner of the raffle was Bobbie Finley of Truro, IA.
