Clarinda Police make drug-related arrest

Clarinda Police investigating a disturbance between a man and a woman at around 4-a.m. today (Monday) at 10th and Main Streets, ended-up arrested a man on drug charges. Police Chief Keith Brothers says his Officers arrested 36-year old Eric Lee Adams, of Clarinda, for second offense possession of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine, and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Adams was being held in the Page County Jail on $2,000 bond. Clarinda Police were assisted in the investigation and arrest by Deputies with the Page County Sheriff’s Department. Investigative reports have been forwarded to the Page County Attorney’s Office for review and consideration of the filing of formal charges.
