CAM travels to Essex for Doubleheader tonight on KJAN

The CAM Cougars travel to Essex for a Varsity Basketball Doubleheader that we’ll have for you tonight on KJAN. The Girls game will get started first at 6:00pm with the Boys to follow around 7:30pm.

In the Girls game the CAM Cougars bring a 4-1 record into the contest against an Essex Trojanettes team that is 3-1. CAM has been lead by a strong group of Sophomores this year led by Madison Gettler who is averaging 15.3 points per game.  Paige McAfee is right behind Gettler dropping in 12.8 points per game so far this season.  Essex is lead by Daiton Martin and Jescenia Mosley who have teamed up to drop in about 31 points per game.

In the Boys contest CAM comes in with a 1-3 record after a close loss to Paton-Churdan on Friday. The Cougars are led by point guard Thomas Hensley who is averaging about 19 points per game. Nic Holste has dropped in 16 points per game for the Cougars as well. Essex  is 1-4 after a Friday loss to Sidney. They have been led in scoring by Seniors Jaymn Vandusen and Gunnar Glasgo.
