The Shelby County field/grassland Fire Danger index will remain in the “Moderate” category this week. Emergency Management officials say if you are planning any large burns, contact your local fire chief or the Emergency Management Office. Emergency Management Coordinator Bob Seivert says high winds are predicted this week, so the Fire Danger index could change. Stay tuned for further updates.
