The 24th ranked Iowa State basketball team raced out to a 56-18 halftime advantage and cruised to a 101-57 victory over the University of Sioux Falls in exhibition play. Naz Mitrou-Long led the Cyclones with 24 points while Deonte Burton chipped in with 16 points, nine rebounds and six steals.

Burton says he is motivated to have a special senior season.

Burton says the Cyclones need to improve on defense before opening on Friday against Savannah State.
