Some Southwest Iowa Track and Field athletes competed at the Iowa State Indoor meet Tuesday and there were a number of top 8 finishers.

400 meter dash: Nick Pedersen, Underwood, 5th, 50.94. Kyle Dolecheck, Mount Ayr, 6th, 51.18

60 hurdles: Gratt Reed, Atlantic, 6th, 8.62.  Tony Klocke, SW Valley, 8th, 8.68

High Jump: Alec Hayes, Atlantic, T5th, 6-2

Long Jump: Josh Lee, Glenwood, 2nd, 20-5.5. Nick Wurster, Mount Ayr, 8th, 19-9.
