The Northern Iowa men returned to the practice floor this afternoon as they get ready for Friday night’s NCAA Tournament opener in San Diego against 13th ranked St. John’s. The Panthers are seeded 12th in the East Region. Fifth seeded St. John’s won the Big East regular season and tournament titles and UNI coach Ben Jacobson says they are outstanding on defense.

Jacobson says St. John’s features a lot of versatility.
