Iowa beats Maryland at B1G Tournament

Iowa has advanced at the Big Ten Tournament in Chicago. The Hawkeyes used a 21-0 run early in the second half to take command and beat Maryland 75-64. The Hawkeyes roared back after trailing by 11 midway through the opening half.
That’s Iowa coach Ben McCollum. The Hawkeyes scored 21 points off Maryland turnovers and outscored the Terps in the paint 36-24.
Freshman Cooper Koch led the Hawkeyes with 19 points. He was five-of-eight from three point range.
Koch on what ignited the offense in the second half.
The Hawkeyes are 21-11 and they advance to play eighth seeded Ohio State on Thursday.
