The AHSTW Boys Track and Field season is right around the corner, and things are looking promising after a successful 2025 season. As a team, they finished top 5 in 5 different events throughout the 2025 season, and placed 25th at Class 1a Boys State. AHSTW sent 5 boys to state last season. Although they are losing three seniors, 3 runners from the 4×800 team that almost broke the school record are coming back this season. Head Coach Jackson Renberg is looking forward to how the success from last year’s T&F group can carry over into the 2026 season.

This team is looking for different runners to step up in place of the seniors who have left, and Coach Renberg has an idea of who could take the next step:

The 4×800 team from last year was 10th best in the whole state last season and was one of the best in school history. It will be the strength of this AHSTW Boys team that should have great mid-distance runners.

Certain guys have stepped up in a more vocal role to encourage the younger runners and get the most out of who they can be:

Going into this season, it is actually a certain class of runners that Coach Renberg is most excited about in terms of growth an overall success:

The AHSTW Boys Track and Field season begins on March 13th, where they will head to the Lied Recreation Athletic Center for the 2026 IATC Indoor Championships.
