CHARLOTTE ACKER, 69, of Des Moines (formerly of Greenfield), died Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Atlantic Specialty Care in Atlantic.  Celebration of Life services for CHARLOTTE ACKER will be held 3-p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Greenfield United Methodist Church. Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

Everyone can wear jeans to the service as Charlotte would have wanted you to.  The service will be livestreamed on YouTube.com/GreenfieldIowaUMC. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church.

The family will greet friends on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield.

Private family burial will be in the South Oak Cemetery in Stuart at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the Charlotte Acker Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

CHARLOTTE ACKER is survived by:

Her daughter – Billie Ernst, of Adair.

Her son – Daniel Christensen.

Her brother – Terry (Deanne) Morgan.

Her sister – Donne Coe, of Stuart.

7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
