The Drake women closed the game with a 21-3 run to rally past Valparaiso 79-68 in the Knapp Center. The Bulldogs trailed by 15 early in the third quarter.

That’s Drake coach Allison Pohlman, who says the Bulldogs turned the game around with defense after struggling in the opening half.

Abbie Aalsma led the way with 19 points as ther Bulldogs improve to 7-8 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
